Overview
F1 Race Calendar & Results is designed to show Formula 1 calendar, session, result, and standings information. The app does not require an account and does not sell personal information. Optional account, referral, and email preference features are available only when you choose to use them.
Information the app handles
Calendar exports and notification choices are handled on your device through Apple system services. Race schedule and results data is loaded from the app API. The API does not need your name or email address for normal calendar, standings, results, widget, or Widget Pass purchase and restore use.
Website chat
When you use the homepage chat, your question, the Race Calendar answer, and the Formula 1 data-tool activity needed to answer it are processed by Cloudflare Workers AI and stored in a Cloudflare Durable Object under a random identifier kept in your browser. This lets the conversation survive a refresh. Chat records are deleted when you use New chat and otherwise expire within 90 days. The chat sends only your browser time-zone name with a question so schedule times can be translated; it does not require your name, email, or an account. AI Gateway prompt and response logging is disabled.
Optional account, referral, and email data
If you join referrals or email preferences, the app may create an internal customer ID and store referral code, claim count, reward status, email preference, and account lifecycle records. If you verify an email address, it is used for verification, preference confirmations, reward-code delivery, product update emails, and future email categories you opt into. The app does not upload your contacts and does not use phone numbers for referrals.
Purchases and referral rewards
Widget Pass purchases and referral rewards are handled through Apple's StoreKit and App Store offer-code systems. The app and API may store purchase entitlement state, App Store transaction status, and developer-generated app account tokens for purchase reconciliation, support, fraud prevention, and reward redemption. Referral rewards do not unlock Widget Pass unless StoreKit confirms the entitlement.
Analytics
The app and website may use privacy-conscious product analytics to understand broad feature usage, reliability, and app performance. Analytics events can include actions such as selecting a season, viewing a round, exporting a calendar item, opening standings, joining referrals, changing email preference categories, or clicking through from the website to the App Store. Analytics events must not include raw email addresses, phone numbers, app account tokens, Apple transaction IDs, signed StoreKit payloads, or referral graph details. Chat analytics include only whether a question came from a starter or the composer, a broad category determined in the browser, first or follow-up turn, completion outcome, and a coarse tool-count. They do not include the question, answer, conversation identifier, tool arguments, or tool output. Referral landing URLs and account preference URLs are redacted before website analytics are sent.
Third-party services
The app uses public Formula 1 schedule and results data sources through a Cloudflare Worker API. The website, API, account/referral records, and transactional email sending run on Cloudflare. The iOS app is distributed through Apple's App Store, and Apple may process App Store downloads, purchases, diagnostics, or crash data according to Apple's policies. Product analytics may be processed by PostHog when analytics are configured. The iOS app includes Meta's Facebook SDK to measure whether Meta ads lead to app installs and optional completed registrations. Meta advertiser identifier collection is disabled unless you authorize tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Meta may process device identifiers and app event data for advertising measurement, analytics, and app functionality under its policies. The app does not send raw email addresses, customer IDs, app account tokens, referral codes, transaction IDs, or signed StoreKit payloads to Meta.
Account support, export, and email choices
You can request data export, referral support, privacy support, or email preference help by contacting support. Eligible account and data requests are handled unless records must be retained for legal, purchase, fraud-prevention, security, or audit reasons.
